DTS Mining was established in January 2008 to provide superior training packages and assessing tools to the mining industry as a whole.

DTS Mining’s primary objective is to supply the Australian Mining Industry with personnel who are educated & equipped with excellent safety standards and an attitude that reflects safe work practices.

We are dedicated to ensuring that personnel are educated so they are aware of their surroundings and the potential hazards associated within the workplace.

By equipping personnel with this model of safety excellence, we seek to achieve the best possible outcome for mining personnel and companies.

DTS Mining specialises in underground safety but has a strong background in many different sectors.

The founding director of DTS Mining Damian Sime has personally been involved in the mining industry for over 20yrs.

Damian holds many qualifications including:

• Certificate IV – Workplace Assessment and Training
• Certificate II & III – Metalliferous Mining Operations (Underground)
• Western Australian Underground Supervisors Certificate of Competency

With over 60 years of mining history, Damian has followed tradition from his father and grandfather before him. Damian believes that the boom has opened many doors for a younger generation to join this growing industry. DTS Mining is determined to lead the safety of all mining personnel into the 21st century. “I have personally experienced alot of happiness and unfortunate losses over my short time within the industry, and  this is why I feel compelled give back to our Australian Mining Industry.
